Clinical Summary

11 yo/F softball player presents to a DC complaining of left groin discomfort


Clinical History

  No history of prior trauma, carcinoma, surgical intervention or corticosteroid regimen. 1och2och  
What do you see? There are abnormal radiographic findings, before looking at close-up view. 3och  
The close-up of the left hip shows expansion adjacent to the lesser trochanter with central radiodensities. The expansion shows smooth cortical margins with areas of increased calcification. The rest of the examination is normal.
